The house, recently built in the long established grounds of our previous home has been carefully designed to reflect the character and charm of the surrounding conservation area. Each room offers the very best in modern facilities including under floor heating, excellent showers, tea and coffee making facilities, information, books and magazines, TV and alarm radio. Internet access is available.
Our heated conservatory has games, library and more detailed visitor information. We can lend you maps and help with planning your day or the rest of your trip. Breakfast is served here and we offer fruit juice, cereals, fruit, toasted bread , oatcakes, homemade marmalade, and a choice of freshly cooked eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and tattie scones. Have some or all, the choice is yours.
There is space for parking within our grounds and you are welcome to enjoy our well stocked garden which has a colourful display of plants and shrubs.

The coastal town of Helensburgh
was planned in the 18th Century by Sir James Colquhoun of Luss and
named after his wife, Helen. The town's spectacularly leafy streets
are justly famous for their fine architecture and stunning springtime
display of apple and cherry blossom. Helensburgh is well placed for
touring this beautiful area where the Highlands and the Lowlands meet.
It is only 45 mins either by car or via the frequent train to Glasgow
and only 35 mins by road from Glasgow Airport. The world famous West
Highland Railway Line is just 5 mins walk from Balmillig. Walking for all abilities is widely available in the
area.
