The Bothy is a luxury self catering apartment, awarded 4 Stars by Scottish Tourist Board Quality Assured, near the village of Drymen on the east side of loch Lomond. It adjoins the main Farmhouse, has one bedroom with King sized or Twin bed. In the Sitting Room, the seating area has two matching settees, one of which makes the ultimate conversion from a sofa to a pocket sprung lumbar support bed within seconds. (140cm / 4' 6" wide). There is a flat/widescreen TV / DVD, Video, Hi-fi system in the Sitting Room. The Bothy is a warm and comfortable rural retreat. It is reached by a staircase, leading to an Balcony area with table and chairs looking south over the Endrick Valley to the Campsie Hills. The seating/dining area is open plan to the fully fitted kitchen. There is a bath and shower room with washbasin and also a separate toilet and washbasin.
The apartment occupies a wonderful setting and is surrounded by some of the most outstanding countryside in Scotland. Situated on the south facing side of The Endrick Valley with views to The Campsie Hills and with many other natural treasures such as The Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Loch Katrine, and The Lake of Menteith all nearby. The Bothy is surrounded by Scotland's first National Park - Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
We are only 20 miles from Stirling and Glasgow and
close by the villages of Drymen, Balfron and Aberfoyle.
